Speedy Mayonnaise Rolls

Make your own self-rising flour for these Speedy Mayonnaise Rolls to save money and a shopping trip. Combine a scant 2 cups all-purpose flour, 3 teaspoons baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt to yield 2 cups.

Ingredients

2 cup self-rising flour

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 Tbsp sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup Milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease 12 muffin cups.

  2. Combine flour, mayonnaise, milk, sugar and salt in a medium bowl.

  3. Stir flour mixture with a wooden spoon just until mixed.

  4. Fill prepared muffin cups halfway with batter. Bake until rolls are browned, about 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

Speedy Mayonnaise Rolls tip: Use paper or foil muffin cup liners to shorten the cleanup time.

How much milk do you use in the Speedy Mayonnaise Rolls? The recipe does not list milk in the ingredient list but it says to add milk in the directions.
