Sesame seeds are expensive and lose their freshness quickly. To protect your investment, purchase the seeds in small quantities and store in your refrigerator or freezer for up to 6 months.
Ingredients
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves
3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 Tbsp salt
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sesame seeds
Directions
-
Cut chicken into bite-size pieces. Heat 1/2 inch oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat to 365 F, or until a bread cube browns in 1 minute.
-
Combine eggs, water and salt in a medium bowl; mix well. Combine flour and sesame seeds in a shallow bowl.
-
Dip chicken in egg mixture, then roll in flour mixture.
-
Cook chicken in batches, turning once, until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Drain nuggets on paper towels.
