2 Tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp grated lemon peel

2 Tbsp lemon juice (about 1 lemon)

2 tsp soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 tsp pepper

2 tsp minced fresh gingerroot or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

4 (4-ounce) swordfish steaks

Directions

  1. Combine oil, lemon peel, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, pepper and gingerroot in a large bowl; mix well.

  2. Add fish to bowl. Turn fish to coat with liquid. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat broiler. Arrange fish on a greased broiler pan.
